So, people throw this statement around...

'it has to get worse before it gets better'

well, does it really NEED to get any worse?

No, I didn't think so either.

Make a conscious effort to invlove yourself in the thinking/feeling
process that there is DEFINTIELY a swing back up to something we can
more readily agree on, and be pleased with, for our World. We are the
alchemists of our own future, and the World's. Sure there are a
plethera of variants to this 'better' idea. Let's begin to bring this
into focus. As a people of the earth.

No more thoughts that we as the people of our nations are powerless to
change policies that we do not agree with and are unjust.
No more thoughts about quick, uninformed, or conformed opinions of
other peoples.
No more thoughts of lack, poverty, or being undeserving of anything
that we want/need
No more thoughts of helplessness, powerlessness, or resignation

Let me put this another way...

your thoughts and actions will help to change the politics and
policies of the nation you live in
Your trust, openess, listening and interest in the perspectives of
others will bring about greater understanding between you
Your world is abundant, in many ways and you deserve all you can dream
that is steeped in integrity
Your power and committment to yourself and your world is growing every day

swing your telescope just a little bit...
see what happens.
You could change the course of humanity

Do something simple, begin to think that our world is finding its
integrity, truth, and just relationships of its people, ignore the
media spin, and make an effort every day, in some way, to make the
world a place you are satisfied with. A smile, and good word, letting
someone go before you, a diffused complaint, a dissolved judgement,
truth in speech and action.
